It is powered by the included four AA Alkaline Batteries. The Home Blood Pressure Monitor has a free smartphone app which allows patients to monitor their progress towards BP goals by storing and tracking their readings. With a free clinical portal available, the BP Monitor allows physicians to securely review patient compliance and progress. Bluetooth® 4.0 technology is used to connect to the BP monitor.
